How to deal with a transaction fee on eBay
As you’re scrolling through eBay, you may be wondering how you can pay for a sale or purchase with your eBay account.
If you’ve never used eBay, the site offers many different ways to pay for items with your PayPal account.
There are two ways to set up PayPal transactions on eBay:1.
Using PayPal to pay with credit cards, debit cards, or gift cards.
PayPal lets you use a credit card or debit card to pay a sale, purchase, or credit.
It will show a transaction history of the transaction, and you’ll be charged a fee for the transaction if it’s completed.2.
Using eBay to pay via a debit card or PayPal debit card.
You can use a debit or credit card to make a PayPal purchase using your PayPal debit or debit credit card, but you’ll still have to pay the transaction fee.
You’ll pay a fee of up to $1.99 per transaction, which is not applicable to PayPal transactions.
PayPal debit card transactions can be paid via the PayPal checkout system or via the Paypal payment option, both of which require an eBay account to make the payment.

Here are some of the things to consider when paying with PayPal:How to make PayPal transactionsPayPal offers several payment methods to make transactions with PayPal.
You choose which method you’d like to use for a transaction.
PayPal will credit your PayPal balance, but the credit is automatically applied to the amount of your purchase.
If you cancel the purchase before the purchase is complete, PayPal will not credit your balance.
You don’t need to provide any proof of purchase to pay using PayPal.
Payment methods for PayPal transactionsA credit card can be used to make one or more payments to a seller or buyer.
You use your PayPal payment card to enter the seller or buyer’s name and email address into the PayPal site.
PayPal then sends your credit card payment to the seller’s PayPal account and the buyer’s PayPal payment account.
You should receive a confirmation message when you pay with your credit or debit payment.
You can pay with a credit or gift card, as well.
You simply type the card’s full name and amount into the checkout page and select “pay with gift card.”
PayPal lets you make a payment using a gift card.
For example, you can choose to use a gift credit card and send the money to the buyer.
If the buyer pays with a gift debit card, PayPal charges the buyer the full amount of the gift card (not including the fee).
If the seller doesn’t use a card, he or she can pay using a debit credit or PayPal credit card.
Paypal allows you to pay online.
To make a purchase, simply go to the PayPal website and select your PayPal PayPal account to pay.
You will see a PayPal checkout page where you can add items to your cart.
You are then prompted to enter your eBay username and password when you finish.
You may need to log into your eBay accounts using your username and email to make payments.
When you’re done making a PayPal payment, you will receive an email confirmation.
If a seller does not accept your PayPal payments, PayPal sends the money back to the sender.
You receive a message in your PayPal inbox when the transaction has been confirmed.
You may be able to add more than one item to your PayPal purchase, and PayPal will notify you when you make more than 1 purchase.
Payments can be made through the PayPal online checkout.

How to pay by credit cardIn some cases, you might be able, with a valid credit card in your name, to make purchases using PayPal credit.

PayCard transactions can also be made with PayPal by using a credit and debit card in the same PayPal account, although the transaction fees are much lower than PayPal credit transactions.
If your PayPal credit or bank account has been shut down, you won’t be able make purchases.
You won’t have access to your bank account until the transaction is complete.
You also may not receive an acknowledgement from PayPal when you send money back.
PayPayPal charges a transaction fees of up, but not all transactions incur transaction fees.
Most transactions are non-discounted, and the amount varies depending on the transaction.

PayPoint lets you pay via PayPal, credit cards or debit cards.
You need to set your PayPal transaction fee to be between $2 and $4.99, but if you set your transaction fee above $5.99 you’ll pay PayPal the full transaction fee and receive a PayPal confirmation.
PayPoints, PayCard, and PayMaster transactions may require additional verification, and may not always be accepted by PayPal.
