How to protect your account balance from fraudsters
Paypal has started tracking its users’ transactions, which are more secure than the traditional method of sending money.
The payment processor said it will start using the technology in March.
The process allows users to quickly scan a QR code or check out a specific transaction.
Paypal said that it will continue to improve its ability to protect users’ information.
“We know there are some fraudsters who attempt to use the QR code to steal money,” Paypal Chief Technology Officer Chris Dunn said in a statement.
“The best way to prevent these types of crimes is to use payment processing services such as Paypal’s secure messaging service.”
