How to open up your digital life to an Uber driver
A new app is helping to open doors for drivers in Australia, with new options for sharing and booking rides.

It is a new service from Uber, and will initially only work in Melbourne.
Uber drivers in the US will be able to use the app to make money from fares, and have the ability to share their own ride data with other drivers.
It will be available in three markets: the US, US states and Canada.
Uber has said that the app is available in all of the US states, including California, Oregon, Washington and Arizona.
While the service is new in Australia it has been available in the country for some time.
The Uber app has been launched in New York, Washington, and Arizona and the service has been widely used, with Uber’s app and website accounting for almost half of the Uber app downloads in New Zealand, New York and Australia.
